Cargo ship VIET NGA 79 (ND 3479) got stuck under the Do Quan bridge on Song Dao river, Red River tributary, Nam Dinh city, south of Hanoi, in the afternoon Oct 19. BW LNG, part of Singapore-based BW Group, has appointed its first female captain. Captain Tatjana Pletena is at the helm of the Singapore-flagged LNG tanker BW GDF Suez Everett, since being promoted in April 2018.
