COSCO SHIPPING Energy Transportation, MOL, Shanghai Maritime University co-sponsored Shanghai LNG Forum 2018
Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Ltd. (MOL; President & CEO: Junichiro Ikeda) yesterday announced that it jointly hosted the Shanghai LNG Forum 2018 with COSCO Shipping Energy Transportation Co., Ltd. (CSET) and Shanghai Maritime University.

India has been advocating for port-based mobile treated ballast water delivering facilities called BWTBoats since 2013. Port of Rotterdam Authority signs with four innovative start-ups for port of the future
The Port of Rotterdam Authority has signed partnership agreements with four recent participants in the annual PortXL innovation programme. The products developed by these promising start-ups range from compact tulip-shaped wind turbines to blockchain applications for freight tracking.

EBRD acquires minority shareholding in IPO of AS Tallinna Sadam
The EBRD has acquired a 3.6 per cent stake in the Estonian infrastructure company AS Tallinna Sadam (Port of Tallinn), supporting the largest listing on the NASDAQ Tallinn Stock Exchange in over 10 years.
Port of Tallinn is one of the largest port companies in the Baltic States, providing port services as a landlord port. In 2017 it handled 10.6 million passengers and 19.2 million tonnes of cargo. Ocean Network Express (ONE) commenced calling JCT of SLPA
Ocean Network Express (ONE) commenced calling the Jaya Container Terminal (JCT) of Sri Lanka Ports Authority (SLPA) with the handling of the inaugural vessel MV "Honolulu Bridge" v.100E recently this month. ONE is the ocean carrier formed with the merger of the 3 large Japanese shipping lines of their container operations.

Shipping line concerns over IT problems at Felixstowe Port
Shipping lines are looking at moving some business from the UK s biggest container port, which has been hit by delays caused by IT problems.
