The roll-on/roll-off (RoRo) cargo vessel Coyhaique, which grounded near the Chilean Port of Aguirre in the early morning hours of July 3, is listing heavily and taking on water.

NGO: 146 Ships Sent to South Asian Beaches in 2nd Quarter

KoPT restarts container handling at Khidderpore Dock
Kolkata Port Trust has resumed container handling at its Khidderpore Dock (KPD) after nearly 10 years with the first vessel arriving here from Tamil Nadu s Kattupalli, a senior port official said on Sunday.

Customs working to reduce container dwell time at ports
The government is working on a strategy to increase green channel clearances of containers to reduce dwell time of containers at ports and facilitate trade.

Demand For Storage Sees Esbjerg Expand
In response to increased demand for storage and shipping-out areas, the board of directors of Port Esbjerg has agreed to the construction of a new 40,000m2 multi-terminal in the eastern port area.
