Hi friends,
I know that lots of Indians are working in the saloon department in cruise liners but what I want to know is what are the job opportunities in cruise liners for deck officers , wages , job profile, family carriage etc. If somebody is woking in any cruise liner , pls let us know the above details .

I am working on Cruise ships as ETO(Electro Techincial Offier) for last 3 years. I have not seen any Deck side officers from India. Mostly in Hotel dept they are Indians mixed with other nationalities. I do not know why there are no Indians employed in Deck and Engine dept. 50% of the cruise ships have Indian ETOs.

i would like to join as chief engineer on cruise ship.
am exp.on 2/4 stroke engines, twin shaft with cpp control. aged 51 yrs.
