i started this  topic .the reason being  a bad experience in a company  named Ishima.It is   a split away of Sirius shipping company.No doubt Sirius  is a very good company with all new  ships and good people in mumbai and Italy

I joined ISHIMA as  asked  by Sirius  for a short contract for 2 months on a take over ship named m.t.gemartrans pioneer a 10 year old  container vessel( engine room  m/cs in a very very bad shape) ,romanian built.taking over from russians. in singapore dry dock for a much lower salary as second engineer.For nearly one month there was no other engineer other than  a 62 year old chief engineer who joined 2 weeks later.life was very bad .one c/o,one ab,one e/o and one oil man left the ship within a week.however things went on.As I was paid $1300 less than my tanker wages Mr Pandey SUPR and Mr Amalraj TECH MGR promised  me that they will give that amount as bonus and I being  a fool believed  that .

to make the story short  they never paid that  till todate
