Coaster collided with unlit barge in Kerch Strait Coaster STAVR, in ballast, collided with anchored, unlit oil barge OMUL, also in ballast, in Kerch Strait, Black sea, at 0105 Moscow time Oct 12. STAVR lost starboard anchor, barge sustained starboard hull dent and breach. Barge OMUL was unmanned, sealed for towage to Turkey. STAVR was brought to anchor. Port of Gothenburg Starts Building New Terminal After years of planning and preparation, construction of an entirely new terminal in the outer area of the Port of Gothenburg has started.

PIBT handles record 900,000 tons coal in Sept Port Qasim Authority (PQA) and the coal importers appreciated the efforts of PIBT for handling smoothly up to 900,000 tons of coal in the month of September 2018 which was a record handling for the terminal. Port of Antwerp on track for sixth record year Throughput continues to register growth in the Port of Antwerp. After record semi-annual figures, the total throughput after nine months stands at 177,026,550 tonnes - a sharp 6% increase compared with the same period last year.
