IMB PRC: Number of Crew Members Held Hostage Increasing YoY
A total of 156 incidents of piracy and armed robbery against ships were reported to the ICC International Maritime Bureau s (IMB) Piracy Reporting Centre (PRC) in the first nine months of 2018 compared to 121 for the same period in 2017.

Norled s Order Marks Sembcorp Marine s Entrance into RoPax Ferry Sector
Norwegian shipping company Norled has ordered three hybrid plug-in ropax ferries from Singapore s shipbuilder Sembcorp Marine.

APM Terminals Moin Container Terminal (MCT) in Costa Rica has handled its first vessel, paving way for the start of commercial operations at the terminal s first deep-sea berth, which has been approved by the National Council of Concessions (CNC).
