Two different ways to hide cocaine on ship: MSC MELINE
Diver was spotted near container ship MSC MELINE, docked at Santos, Brazil, at dawn Feb 14. Diver fled, leaving behind him floating waterproof bag with 28 kilos of cocaine in it. Bag was covered by fluorescence substance. Police surveyed ship s hull and the ship during daytime and found two more bags locked in a steel box, containing 57 kilos of cocaine. It isn t known if the bags found on board were placed there by the same drug traffickers in Santos, or by other criminals probably even in another port. MSC MELINE left Santos same day, bound for Rio De Janeiro, understood the ship and the crew are clear of any suspicions of collusion with traffickers.
