semi-refrigerated and ethylene capable gas carriers providing seaborne services for the
transportation of liquified petroleum gas (LPG), petrochemicals and other speciality gases.

oil majors and commodity trading houses throughout Southeast Asia, the Middle East,

FLEET MANAGER, EMISSIONS & EFFICIENCY - SINGAPORE OFFICE
TECHNICAL DEPARTMENT

Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the Technical teams Sustainability strategies, solutions and monitoring. Continually pushing
    our Sustainability journey to achieve the UN Sustainability Development goals. Develop metrics, and KPIs for
    benchmarking, maintain awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging technologies and best
    risk management practices.
  • Responsible for the Technical team's Decarbonization response, emerging fuels, new technologies, interact
    with various Shipyards, Engineering companies, Engine builders.
  • Lead for the company's technical digitization process, building Business Intelligence tools, towards connecting
    cross departmental information (Commercial / Finance / Technical).
  • Lead the technical team's Energy Efficiency program, installation of Energy Saving Devices on vessels,
    monitoring the hull & machinery improvements.
  • Responsible for the organization's Vessel performance solution, harnessing data towards prudent decision
    making and risk evaluation, predictive maintenance program.
    • Evaluate and implement various off-the-shelf Vessel performance software solutions
    • Evaluate and Implement hardware solutions for automatic data collation like - Torque meters, Digital
      flowmeters.
    • Evaluate hardware for data logging of ship's instrumentation like engine data, navigational data and
      transmitting into shore software for analysis
    • Electronic logbook implementation
    • Data analysis, trending and monitor vessel performance
    • Implement ISO 19030 standards for Hull performance solutions
    • Review paint application types, cost /performance benefits
    • Review engine performance by installing Engine performance monitoring solutions
    • Interact with Engine builders to assess engine performance data and implement solutions fleet wide
    • Review the cylinder oil consumptions and evaluate new technologies
    • Evaluate hull performance improvement solutions like PBFC, etc.
    • Creating Vessel performance reports in discussion with the Technical team for improvements.
  • Responsible for all Emission regulatory compliance, data collection, verification, liaising with 3rd party auditors -
    IMO DCS, EU MRV implementation and compliance, verification, liaising with MRV Verifiers, EEXI requirements,
    new building EEDI requirements. Maintain awareness of new regulatory requirements on the horizon and plan /
    execute the company's response.
  • Responsible for all Emission compliance requirements to 3rd party organizations like Sea Cargo charter,
    Poseidon principles.
  • In charge of Environmental Management system, monitoring all Environmental data
  • Represent the organization in various forums on our Environment, Performance related issues

  • REQUIREMENTS
  • Holding Chief Engineer Certificate of Competency preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills (with research oriented approach) and the ability to translate data into useful analytics
  • Project management abilities, with ability to develop, improve and implement safe, and cost effective technical
    vessel management processes
  • Proficient in Business Intelligence tools, harnessing data towards prudent decision making
  • An in-depth knowledge of the Emissions regulatory requirements and 3rd party organizations (Poseidon
    principles / Sea cargo charter) emission guidance.
  • Committed and responsible in meeting deadlines with excellent time management skills

    SHIP APPLICATION SPECIALIST - SINGAPORE OFFICE
    IT DEPARTMENT

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    You will be responsible for installing and maintaining IT systems on board BW Epic Kosan
    ships in accordance with company's standards and best practice. This will
    require you to travel to different parts of the world, to visit all our vessels trading
    globally, and carry out onboard maintenance and trouble shooting. You must possess
    in-depth knowledge, experience & understanding of the use of the following Ship IT
    systems and its underlying data and has the ability to validate the data and make any
    amendments/improvements as required:
  • Ship communication system installation and maintenance - VSAT, Fleet Broadband
  • Business Email and Crew welfare communication software
  • Planned Maintenance Systems (preferably ShipNet One)
  • Vessel Procurement and positioning Systems (preferably ShipNet One fleet module)
  • Vessel Safety Management Systems.
  • Vessel Crew Management applications.

  • You should have the ability to:
  • Analyse how data maps between independent systems, e.g. for integration purposes
  • Pull reports from the underlying databases
  • Assess the validity of data and perform corrections as needed

  • Requirements:
  • Degree in relevant discipline.
  • Minimum 8 years' relevant experience in managing Ship IT systems, including experience in troubleshooting,
  • Supporting computer applications & operating systems.
  • Hands on knowledge with Planned Maintenance Systems including implementation.
  • Marine engineering sailing background is preferred.
  • Maintain an administrative control over Ship's type of machinery, jobs carried out, scheduling, running hours
  • Monitoring, inventory control, updating new spares/ inventory to database (Referring to Ship's Operational
    Manuals, & updating databases as required).
  • Manage vessel cyber security related applications.
  • Familiar with:
    • Procurement Systems on board vessel & monitor ShipNet Fleet and ship/ office interface, troubleshoot
      database synch problems.
    • Extracting reports using available Reporting modules.
    • Safety Management Systems, operational reports, customization of reporting formats.
  • Experienced with Ship's Networking Knowledge, Fleet Broadband Communication & Email Systems; and
    troubleshooting related problems.
  • Proactive, organised & outcome driven.
  • Ability to work under tight timelines & a team player.

    MARINE OPERATIONS MANAGER - SINGAPORE & COPENHAGEN OFFICE
    MARINE & SECURITY UNIT - TECHNICAL DEPARTMENT

    Key Responsibilities:
  • Reporting to Fleet Manager, Marine & Security.
  • Manage the daily Marine operational aspects of a group of vessels covering - navigation, mooring, deck
    equipment, safety equipment, Port arrival / departure & STS operations and general condition.
  • Manage and ensure safe cargo operations of loading / discharging, grade change, tank preparation.
  • Work in conjunction with the Technical team for Drydock specification, planning and execution.
  • Responsible for the vessel's 3rd party inspections - SIRE, CDI, PSC, USCG, Terminal, Flag etc.
  • Conduct Management Inspections and Internal audits on ships. Identify areas for improvement and verify
    implementation of the corrective and preventive action.
  • Review and respond to vessel reports - Navigational, Safety, SIRE/CDI inspection, PSC inspections, Internal
    audits, Near misses, Incidents/Accidents.
  • Liaise with interested parties such as Class, Oil Majors, Ship Owners, Suppliers and other stakeholders to
    ensure vessel's are certificated in accordance to International regulations.
  • Review vessels record keeping and documentation to comply to International regulations and Company's
    Policies and Procedures.
  • Manage and monitor all planned and unplanned repairs to ensure conducted safely.
  • Prepare and conduct trainings for officers and crew.
  • Conduct safety, environmental and security drills onboard to assess effectiveness.
  • Conduct appraisals of Officers and recommend actions.
  • Interview deck officers to evaluate suitability for selection/promotion.
  • Conduct investigation of incidents/accidents on board when appointed to do so by the Fleet Managers.

  • REQUIREMENTS
  • Holding Master Mariner Certificate of Competency.
  • Sailing experience as a Master or Chief Officer on LPG / Ethylene / Ethane Vessels.
  • Technologically driven, comfortable working in a digital environment, logical process development.
  • No shore experience required.
  • Ability to travel at short notice and manage 24/7 on call lifestyle.
  • Ability to develop, improve and implement safe, and cost-effective technical vessel management processes.
  • An in-depth knowledge of the rules and regulations governing vessels' management.
  • Committed and responsible in meeting deadlines with excellent time management skills.
  • Independent, outcome driven, organized and resourceful.
  • Strong team orientation and has the ability to manage cross-functional relationships in a dynamic and fast-

    SHIP MANAGER - SINGAPORE & COPENHAGEN OFFICE
    TECHNICAL DEPARTMENT

    Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the daily technical & operational matters of a group of vessels covering the overall vessels
    maintenance, general condition, operational performance, repairs.
  • Maintain stringent cost control of operating budget including financial reporting and
    preparing of vessels' annual budgets..
  • Ensure vessels are certificated in accordance to International regulations. Plan surveys and inspections, and
    any condition of class are completed within scheduled dates.
  • Responsible for Drydock repairs - specification, planning and execution, budget/bill settlement.
  • Conduct Management Inspections. Identify areas for improvement and verify implementation of the corrective
    and preventive action.
  • Review and respond to vessel technical reports and equipment performance monitoring. Review vessels record
    keeping and documentation to comply to International regulations and Company's Policies and Procedures.
  • Liaise with interested parties such as Class, Oil Majors, Ship Owners, Suppliers and other stakeholders to
    ensure vessels.
  • Implement and maintain a safe, environmentally friendly, dependable and cost effective standard in accordance
    with corporate policies and procedures.
  • Establish consistent, professional and efficient service delivery standards at all times.
  • Mentor and train officers and crew.
  • Conduct appraisals of Officers and recommend actions.
  • Interview engine officers to evaluate suitability for selection/promotion.
  • Conduct investigation of incidents/accidents on board when appointed to do so by the Fleet Managers.

  • REQUIREMENTS
  • Holding Chief Engineers Certificate of Competency.
  • Sailing experience on MAN B&W ME type engines as Chief Engineer or 1st Assistant Engineer preferred on
    LPG / Ethylene / Ethane Vessels.
  • Technologically driven, comfortable working in a digital environment, logical process development.
  • No shore experience required.
  • Ability to travel at short notice and manage 24/7 on call lifestyle.
  • Ability to develop, improve and implement safe, and cost effective technical vessel management processes.
