Tanker disabled after water ingress, towed to safety, Black sea Product tanker DELFI suffered water ingress in engine room in the evening Feb 13, being some 16 nm off Constanta, Romania, Black sea. Tanker requested assistance. Tug or tugs were sent, with helicopter on standby to evacuate 7 crew if things come to worst. Tanker was towed to Constanta and moored early in the morning Feb 14. Disabled Estonian freighter towed to Danish port Rescue Station Thyboron, Jutland, Denmark, North sea, reported towage of a disabled freighter on Feb 13. Freighter suffered engine or mechanical failure and was at anchor for some days on Thyboron outer anchorage, 12 nm west of Thyboron. In its FB Thyboron Redningsstation post ship wasn t identified. According to AIS information, it s general cargo ship KAIE, which was disabled and brought to anchor in the morning Feb 10, while en route from Netherlands to Rostock Germany.
