India: 16 Indian sailors stuck in China to return.
Sixteen Indian crew members of the Swiss-Italian ship, MV Anastasia, who have been stuck in the Chinese waters for more than a year, will be returning to Mumbai on Sunday. Malaysian Govt urged to give vaccine priority to Malaysian seafarers
The Malaysian Maritime Professionals Association s Council (Ikmal) has urged the government to put seafarers on the priority list to be vaccinated against Covid-19.

Bulk carrier fire, Black sea
Fire erupted on board of bulk carrier PRINCE 4 in Black sea off Ukrainian coast on Feb 12. The ship loaded with 11,500 tons of grain, left Nikolayev, Ukraine, at 0450 UTC Feb 12, bound for Yemen. The ship was already at sea when fire erupted, understood somewhere portside in superstructure or engine room, and later spread to upper deck. Capesize bulker leaked oil in Bay of Gibraltar
About 0.85 ton of oil leaked from AM GHENT into the harbor, according to latest reports. Gibraltar is to take legal actions against the ship and her owners, as expected. Mishap occurred during bunkering operation, when anchored bulk carrier was receiving fuel from bunker tanker.

Turkey: Pirates Release MV Mozart Crew
Fifteen Turkish sailors kidnapped by pirates last month in the Gulf of Guinea have been freed in Nigeria and will head home, a shipping company executive said on Friday, two weeks after the attackers made contact to discuss a ransom.
