Mass poisoning on board of Turkish freighter, 1 died, evacuation under way, Russia
General cargo ship APRIL requested urgent medical assistance, reporting mass poisoning on board on Feb 19, while en route from Taganrog Russia, Azov sea, to Samsun, Turkey, Black sea. Freighter disabled by bad bunker, another sank, both heading for Nigeria
General cargo ship KING 2 on Feb 18 went adrift off Gythio, Laconic Gulf, Peloponnese, Greece, with her engine disabled by poor quality bunker fuel. Chinese Capesize bulk carrier explosion, several crew injured
Capesize bulk carrier CSSC CAPE TOWN suffered an explosion in fore part at night Feb 19 in British Gibraltar waters, Bay of Gibraltar. The ship arrived from Baltimore, USA, loaded with coal, destined for Algeciras, Spain, Bay of Gibraltar. Reportedly, there was no fire. Several crew members said to be injured. Thai bulk carrier mass crew sickness in Canada, third mass poison-like case. Were they vaccinated?
Bulk carrier THOR MAGNCHILD, docked at Trois-Rivieres, Quebec, Canada, called emergency services at night Feb 18 reporting 6 of ship s 24 all-Thai crew fell ill with diarrhea and vomit.
