India: Sonowal inaugurates Odishas first riverine jetty
Union Minister for Ports, Shipping and Waterways, Sarbananda Sonowal on Monday inaugurated Odisha’s first riverine jetty at Paradip. Sonowal, who was on a two-day visit to port town Paradip, inaugurated the IFFCO riverine jetty and flagged-off the cargo barge at the port in Odisha. Indian sailors freed by Houthi rebels to return home soon
The seven Indian sailors freed from the captivity of Yemen’s Houthi rebels are expected to travel back to India soon, the government said on Monday. The sailors were taken captive when the Houthi rebels seized the UAE-flagged merchant vessel Rwabee in the Red Sea on January 2. P&O Ferries hits back at staff pay cut claim
P&O Ferries has hit back at claims that it tried to get its new cheaper agency staff to accept even lower wages. Indian authorities apprehend Pakistani ship with heroin worth Rs 280 crore
