Navy to issue workout gear in 2016 for sailors
At the time of the six-week period, aboard a Japanese coal ship bound for Australia, three crew members who lost their lives are doubted to have faced foul play.
There were two Filipinos - a chief cook Cesar Llanto and a chief engineer Hector Collado, who lost their lives on the Sage Sagittarius, it is tagged as death ship, in a span of two weeks of each other in 2012.
On August 30, Mr Lllontro disappeared overboard, as the vessel headed towards Australian waters northeast. Also, on September 14, Mr Collado passed away, when he fell off from a staircase 11 metres down during the ship was moored at the Port of Newcastle.
As a result of the deaths, a Japanese superintendent, boarded the vessel in Australia,unfortunately he also died on October 6, 2012, when it was docked in southern Japan.
On Thursday, an inquest was heard related to the deaths of Mr Llanto and Mr Collado at Glebe Coroner's Court in Sydney that how a culture of silence prevented the ship's 25 crew members were not commenting about the deaths to marian silence.
The court announced that there were serious fights was on the ship, projecting at captain Venancio Salas Jr's , who was suspected to do bullying.

Bravery act by a former U.S. Navy sailor to save the life of a drowning man
A former U.S. Navy sailor Boyd Tarwater, 55, has saved the life of a 22 year old man from drowning at an Oxford Beach.He has been tagged as a hero for his outstanding effort.
On Monday, the Navy sailor was riding his bike to Mandalay Beach, to have a picnic when he saw a man struggling for his life to get out and at that time there was no lifeguard on duty.
Tarwater commented"His family members waved their hands for help and were shouting. I took off my boots and pants to dive into the water to save him.”
Tarwater, is certified in CPR, got the drowning man to shore and asked the people to call 911.
Within few minutes, paramedics came and took him ransported the to a local hospital.
As per the experts say rip currents are created when waves break on the shoreline. This can form a stream of water moving away from the beach and swimmers can be taken by it.If you are affected by the rip current, don’t get hyper and rather, one should swim parallel towards the shore.
The rescuers were thankful to Tarwater for his training and heroic effort.

Wife of the Missing captain still hopes that her husband alive
The wife of the missing boat’s captain is still sure that he is alive, even after Six months since the vessel carrying provisions and construction materials cannot be located, it had a team of seven crew members. It was issuing from off the Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
Last year on December 15, Xavier Kaithan 36 years old, from Tuticorin in Tamil Nadu and six others started sailing from Hut Bay wharf to Car Nicobar Island. He was the captain of the vessel - Our Lady of Velankanni that belonged to Andaman-based Sakthi Shipping Corporation, while rest on board the vessel were natives of the Andamans.
They were expected to reach the island 80 nautical miles away by next day. But unfortunately, the vessel went missing in between the route of Hut Bay and Car Nicobar islands.
Maria Columbia 36 years old, who is Kaithan’s wife,, is still praying and hoping that her husband is still alive. She is requesting the officials to help her out in finding her husband and the rest of the crew members.
She said, “ The search pertains conducted by the Coast Guard were inappropriate, a more intense aerial search is required to be done, I still believe that they are stuck in an isolated place.”

British sailor Hannah White aims to set the record of being the fastest woman on water
On Wednesday night, British sailor and broadcaster Hannah White who is 32 years old, launched her try to be the fastest non-powered woman on water. The idea came to her on the back of a restaurant menu eight months ago.
She is transatlantic sailor and adventurer, aims to create a hopes to new record for travelling in a non-powered sailing craft at one nautical mile in Speedbird.
Project engineer David Chisholm has designed and constructed Speedbird. By the coming month, it will be positioned on the water with the next phase of development during the summer.
In an aim to beat the record of windsurfer Zara Davis in 2006 travelling at 34.74 knots in Walvis Bay which as equal to 40mph on land. Ms White is wishing to accelerate the speed up to 40 knots during the process and she would attempting this b y next year.
Ms Davis commented: “Records are meant to be broken and are reset at higher rate every time. In the last 10 years, sailing technology has been improving drastically such as the systems used to measure speed.”

Investigations reveals that Trident whistleblower’s allegations are as baseless
According to Michael Fallon, MoD investigation has come to the conclusion that William McNeilly’s allegations are wring or can be an outcome of misunderstanding.
Michael Fallon has ruled out the claims made by Trident whistleblower William McNeilly that Britain’s nuclear deterrent is a “disaster waiting to happen” as factually incorrect or the result of a misunderstanding.
It was reply to McNeilly’s 18-page report, which was published online two weeks ago,a written statement by defence secretary’s was given, which mentioned information of 30 alleged breaches of safety and security.
Fallon had written that the interrogation pertaining to the allegation was completed and the operational effectiveness of Trident is maintained as well as the safety of submariners or members of the public have not been put at risk.
It further stated: “Majority issues raised by McNeilly were wrong or as an outcome of mis/partial knowledge which were related to historic events, and where no compromise was done relating to the capability and wherever it was required, we have renewed our process as a means of improving programme continuously.
On Monday evening, Able Seaman McNeilly was arrested by Royal Navy police after he surrendered at Edinburgh airport, when he was absconding from his duty from Faslane naval base.
