Argentine grains port workers to strike after talks collapse.
A labor union representing Argentine grains port workers said on Sunday it would stage a 24-hour walk-off from midnight after failing to strike a deal on a collective work agreement with the business chamber that represents private port owners.

Alexandria s new multi-purpose terminal to be operational early 2022
Egypt s Minister of Transport, Kamel El-Wazir, expected that the new multi-purpose terminal in the port of Alexandria would be operational by early 2022 as the progress rate reached 27.7%.

Capesize bulk carrier devastated by authorities.
Capesize bulk carrier PATRICIA OLDENDORFF left Gwangyang, Korea, on Aug 30, bound for Hedland Australia, on Sep 4 she entered Manila Bay and anchored, obviously for the purpose of crew change. She left Manila next day and headed for Australia. She anchored at Hedland anchorage on Sep 16, and in Sep 16-18 period, almost all the crew with just two exceptions (soon to be p-tested, too), were positive tested. Philippines: After 6 months stranded in China, 11 seafarers now going home.
After more than 6 months of being forced to quarantine on their vessel off the waters of China, 11 Filipino crew members of Oceanstar 86 are set to fly back to the Philippines on Monday evening, September 28.
"Sobrang saya namin (We are so happy)," seafarer Anthony Medina told Rappler via Facebook messenger. Medina also sent an emoji of a puppy jumping up and down to show how excited the crew is to go home.

Container Fire on Ship Off India Highlights Ongoing Danger.
For the second time in a month, the Indian Coast Guard has been called upon to assist in fighting a fire aboard a commercial ship at sea. They are currently assisting with a container fire aboard a vessel operating regional service.
According to the Indian Coast Guard, they received a call for assistance from the 10,600 DWT vessel X-Press Godavari which was in an anchorage near the Indian city of Haldia in the state of West Bengal. Taiwan: Crew seeking help after being stuck on ship for 2 months.
A crew of 10 sailors have reached out for help after being stuck at anchor off the Port of Taichung for two months in poor living conditions and often suffering food and water shortages.

CMA CGM Hit By Cyber Attack.
Container shipping group CMA CGM said on Monday it is dealing with a cyber attack impacting its peripheral servers.
The attack did not concern the systems of its subsidiary CEVA Logistics, it added in a statement.

Cargo volume lower at Port of Bundaberg.
The Port of Bundaberg recorded a 27.7 per cent reduction in throughput last financial year due to lower sugar exports but prospects are bright, according to Gladstone Ports Corporation (GPC).
The information is contained in the organisation s 2019-20 annual report, which predicts volumes will rise this year.
