Oil gas and air mixture led to explosion with following fire in engine room of tanker VF TANKER 16, berthed in Makhachkala port, Dagestan, Russia, Caspian sea, at around 0420 Moscow time Jun 11. Iceland Plans Fuel Oil Ban to Lower Emissions in Its Waters
Iceland s Ministry of the Environment and Natural Resources has proposed a ban on use of heavy fuel oil in the country s waters, according to the Clean Arctic Alliance.

Pelabuhan Tanjung Pelepas Sdn Bhd (PTP), a member of MMC Group has set a new world record to depart a vessel with a final load over 19,000 TEUs.
