Direct shipping route links China s Tianjin port with northern Europe German shipping giant Hapag-Lloyd AG launched a direct freight route Wednesday linking north China s Tianjin port with northern Europe, according to the company s local branch.

Ports begin enforcing bunker fuel carriage ban Port enforcement agencies in the U.S. and around the world tightened their oversight of the IMO 2020 low-sulfur fuel regulation on March 1 to include detaining and penalizing ships found to be carrying noncompliant fuel.
